Welcome to Naturesbase.
Naturesbase is committed to helping children and teachers understand and become inspired by the natural world, sustainable development and their school environment.
Many hundreds of students, staff and pupils every year experience Naturesbase through the range of cross-curricular activities, training workshops and school ground development days delivered across the UK.

You can now visit us at our wonderful new camping education centre, Naturesbase camp in Wales, there is no where quite like it. Look for the tab on the left.

Our activities
through direct hands on experiences incorporate sustainability, geography fieldwork, the global dimension and forest schools, helping to develop a full range of personal, social and emotional skills.

Our aim is to:
> Awaken a sense of awe and wonder
> Inspire a sense of adventure through learning
> Deliver innovative, imaginative and engaging programmes
> Develop self esteem and confidence
> Build co-operation and trust
> Explore independence and interdependence

Our creative and practical approach encourages children of all ages and abilities to participate fully in a meaningful and relevant way.

Our belief is endorsed by the Learning Outside the Classroom Manifesto, Every Child Matters, Eco Schools and  Sustainable Schools.

Our experience, of over 15 years in providing environmental education guarantees any programme will be delivered with passion, flexibility and the of highest quality.

We deliver courses in schoolsgrounds, staff rooms and teacher training colleges through out the country, and week long residential camps for primary school children at Naturesbase Camp.  If you are interested in organising an unforgettable day or week of adventure and stimulation for your class or a training day for the staff at your school, we are a small flexible team who would value designing a day to meet your needs, so please do not hesitate to contact us.
